EARLY DISMISSALS

Reminder: If your child has an early dismissal, please send a written note to the middle school office. If a written note is provided, parents/guardians may call the office when they arrive, and the student may be sent out without the parent/guardian needing to come into the office.

YEARBOOK ORDERS

Don’t forget to order your yearbook before the discount period ends. Books cost $30.00 if ordered by December 31, 2024. The price increases to $35.00 starting January 1, 2025. To order click this link.

12 DAYS OF PBIS

We will be celebrating the holiday season AND our positive school climate with 12 Days of PBIS themed dress-up days from Thursday, December 5 through Friday, December 20. See the calendar below for the themes. Please note that dress code standards will continue to be enforced, which means no hoods or costumes are permitted. Hats may be worn if they are holiday-related.

MCMS SCHOOL COUNSELORS EARN NATIONAL RECOGNITION

The MCMS School Counseling Program, led by school counselors Mrs. Foor and Mr. McCardell, was recently awarded the PA Diamond Award and the RAMP Award. These awards are based on providing students with a high-quality counseling program that is aligned to the PSCA (PA School Counselor Association) and the ASCA (American School Counselor Association) standards. Only

7 other schools in PA have been awarded the national RAMP status!

SPORTS LOCKERS AT MCMS

Sports lockers are available in the MCMS cafeteria for storage of athletic bags/equipment. Beginning in December, student athletes who carry multiple bags to school (e.g. school backpack and an athletic bag/backpack) will be required to use a sports locker if they do no use their assigned school locker to store their belongings.
