Mr. Frank Miller began his educational career in the Mount Union Area School District in August 1991. He served the district as Head Teacher, Elementary Teacher, Title 1 Teacher, Gifted Teacher, Instructional Support Teacher, and Junior High Wrestling Coach from August 1991 to February 2000. He was then promoted to Elementary Principal and Federal Programs Coordinator in February 2000. In July of 2007, Mr. Miller became Director of Elementary and Federal Programs for the Mount Union Area School District. He served in this capacity as well as Principal at the Mount Union Kistler Elementary until November 2015. Mr. Miller was hired in November 2015 for the position of Federal Programs Coordinator for the Mifflin County School District and Elementary Principal at Strodes Mills Elementary School.
Mr. Miller received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary/Kindergarten Education from Pennsylvania State University in May 1991. He then received a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from Shippensburg University in August 1996. Mr. Miller completed his Elementary Principal Certificate from Shippensburg University in March 1997. He completed his Superintendent’s Letter of Eligibility from Shippensburg University in August 2012.
Mr. Miller became the Pennsylvania Association of Federal Program Coordinators (PAFPC) Region 4 Representative in July of 2008 and served in this capacity for 7 years. He was elected PAFPC Vice-President in May of 2015 and then President Elect in May of 2016. Mr. Miller served two years terms as the PAFPC President, Past President and Senior Past President from May 2018 until May 2024. Recently, Mr. Miller was asked to serve as a PAFPC Region 4 Alternate Representative for the 2024-2025 school year.
