Substitute Teacher, Substitute Paraprofessional, Substitute Health Room Aides and Substitute School Nurses Employment

Substitute Cafeteria Workers

The Food Services Department of the Mifflin County School District is accepting applications for substitute cafeteria workers. Interested persons would need a high school diploma or GED. Work may occur for breakfast or lunch shift and is not to exceed an average of 29 hours per week. Act 34, Act 151, Act 114 clearances, Act 168 release along with a health physical with a TB test are required prior to the first day of employment. Substitute Janitors

The Buildings and Grounds Department of the Mifflin County School District is accepting applications for substitute custodians. Responsibilities include performing regular and recurring cleaning at any of the schools for the Mifflin County School District. Interested persons would need a high school diploma or GED, be able to read and write English and have a valid PA driver’s license. Work may occur for first or second shift and is not to exceed an average of 29 hours per week. Act 34, Act 151, Act 114 clearances, Act 168 release along with a health physical with a TB test are required prior to the first day of employment. According Pennsylvania Regulations

All school employees shall obtain a pre-employment medical examination. In addition, those school employees, to include teachers, paraprofessionals, custodians, school secretaries, and cafeteria personnel, who provide direct service to students must obtain a TB test prior to employment.
